Months into the Covid-19 situation, our household requires Hygiene necessities such as antibacterial soaps, air fresheners and sanitizers — but they have been flying off the shelves. The 2020 Pandemic has caused panic to our people, hence hygiene necessities ran out of stock. Some restocked on sanitizers, while others restocked on ethyl alcohol, which causes dryness to the skin.
Many brands that produce hand sanitizers today did not make hand sanitizers prior to the coronavirus pandemic. However, as they witnessed a shortage and very high demand for sanitizers, they took the opportunity to introduce them to the market.
CHI Egypt also took action to help prevent the spread of the virus and support the health and well-being of our customers, our partners, employees and our communities.
We have been working around the clock to see how we can best help our local community and have decided to use our manufacturing facility to help make hand sanitizers that are much needed right now. We managed to assist in this cause and collaborated with NEYA Platform, which distributed sanitizers to those in need. Today, we have started fulfilling regular orders.
